Keenan’s at the Pier is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for a relaxed waterfront dining experience with beautiful views and great food. The location right by the water makes it perfect for a casual lunch, sunset dinner, or even a weekend brunch, you really can’t beat the scenery. The seafood is fresh and well-prepared, and the menu offers a nice variety so there’s something for everyone. Everything we ordered was flavorful and nicely presented, and you can tell they focus on quality ingredients. The service was warm and attentive without feeling rushed, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. What really stands out is the atmosphere, comfortable, welcoming, and ideal whether you’re out with family, friends, or celebrating something special. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy the view, and have a genuinely pleasant meal. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area!

Came here with some extended family while we were visiting in town. We enjoyed the corn chowder soup. We really enjoyed the truffle fries. In fact, we would recommend the truffle fries if that’s your sort of thing. The server was very friendly and helpful. She was able to help us navigate through some of the items on the menu. We ended up deciding to have some dessert. I really enjoyed the crème brûlée. We also enjoyed the no flower chocolate cake. This is a great place to get quality food and enjoy the view of the water. We will probably come back during one of our next visits in town. Hope you get a chance to enjoy.

An absolutely GORGEOUS view and some good gluten free options in Bellingham. Everything on the menu was labeled and they notified the kitchen it was Celiac! They even have a gluten free bread for dipping! Our server Mia was very friendly, helpful, and great about checking in and double checking gluten free for us. If you can get a reservation on the patio, would highly recommend! A very cool little pier walk right outside as well. The crab cakes are gluten free! The appetizers were SO delicious looking that we ordered a time and two of us split the salmon.

I had a wonderful brunch at this hotel restaurant! The moment you walk in, the stunning views set the perfect tone—bright, relaxing, and absolutely beautiful. It’s the kind of place where you want to sit a little longer just to enjoy the scenery. The food was very tasty, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. Every dish had great flavor, and the portions were just right for a relaxing weekend brunch. The service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, a fantastic spot for a delicious brunch with unbeatable views. Excellent location. A great way to start off a beautiful evening. Halibut was very good but it's the the seafood chowder gets rave reviews from me. One of the best I've had. The scallops were also very good. I'd definitely go back if I were in the area!

While walking into the restaurant you’re immediately struck by the gorgeous view over the Bellingham bay. Across the water you can see Lummi Island and the San Juan Islands. The bartender Tony did a great job checking in throughout the meal. I arrived during happy hour 3-6pm. I got the Industry Standard to drink, appetizer of half a dozen locally sourced oysters, and the blackened fish tacos. The whole meal and experience is top tier! One bite of the tacos and the word disappeared around me. Pure balanced flavor with the lime and salsa provided.

Delicious Food The crab cakes were outstanding, with a wonderful bell pepper flavor running through them. The exterior was perfectly crisp, while the inside stayed firm and moist without being mushy. The mussels arrived in a mildly spicy broth that made them especially enjoyable. The portion was generous—about 12 to 13 mussels—and they were served with crisp toast points, perfect for soaking up the flavorful liquid. The Keenan Burger was a standout. Juicy, thick, and cooked to perfection. The tomato chutney added a bright, tangy-sweet pop that elevated the whole burger, and the quality of the bun held everything together beautifully. The falafel was another hit: crisped perfectly on the outside and full of flavor inside. Paired with the creamy hummus and tangy feta, it made a wonderfully balanced bite. The peri peri chicken skewers were equally delicious. A slight char on the outside added a smoky edge, while the chicken itself stayed juicy and flavorful throughout. Finally, the almond polenta cake was superb—a subtle sweetness with a unique, delightful texture. Topped with creamy, smooth ice cream, it made the perfect ending to the meal. On top of the incredible food, the service was excellent—the waitstaff were friendly, attentive, and very accommodating, making sure everything was just right. And to top it all off, the stunning view of the water and the fresh outdoor air made the entire experience even more incredible—delicious food paired with a breathtaking setting.

We picked this restaurant because we were staying in the hotel and didn’t want to drive. Next time, we will pick Keenan’s at the Pier because it is over the top in all aspects. Service: From the moment we asked for a table, the service was terrific! The waitress gave us a great table with a wonderful view. Through the whole meal, she never let up. She served with energy, enthusiasm, and skill! Atmosphere: overlooking the boardwalk at sunset time, how could it get better than that? We enjoyed the passing train for added entertainment. It’s a magic location. Food: Our group of four covered the menu well. Mussels, prawns, Mahi Mahi, scallops, and specialty pasta. All were perfectly prepared and presented beautifully! When you go to Keenan’s, by all means, chow down. But be sure you save room for dessert. The crème brûlée was awesome!
